Jordan Spieth burst out of the pack at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am by firing a seven-under 65 in the third round on Saturday.

Trapped in a three-way tie for the lead at the midway point, which finally arrived after numerous rain, fog and darkness delays, Spieth dominated Pebble Beach with eight birdies and just one bogey.
The two-time major champion is searching for his first PGA Tour win this year and sits at 17 under.

Jason Day turned around what could have been a brutal day.
After climbing into a share of the lead through 36 holes, Day was five over through his first six holes in his round on Pebble Beach.
He turned his day around with three birdies on his last four holes to shoot a three-over 75 to be at seven under.
Brandt Snedeker shot a five-under 67 on Pebble Beach to get to 11 under.
He had a stretch of six birdies in seven holes on his back nine.
Two-time tournament champion Dustin Johnson exploded up the leaderboard late in his third round.
Playing alongside Spieth, Johnson birdied two of his last three holes to get to 10 under for the tournament.
Former U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy has quietly been playing well this season, and continued his fine form with a six-under 66. He climbed to eight under for the tournament.
Torrey Pines winner Jon Rahm also reached eight under after shooting a four-under 67 on Monterey Peninsula Country Club.
Englishman Luke Donald, who was struggling to make the cut, is six under for the tournament after a seven-under 65 at Spyglass Hill.
Spieth enters the final round with a six-shot lead, but expect Snedeker and Johnson to apply some pressure on the young star.
