$25,650: What J.B. Holmes actually made after carding a fourth round 87 and tying for 67th place.
In Australian dollars, that means Holmes went from a possible payday of $1.01 million down to $36,415.
Ouch.
Holmes had only five bogeys through the first three rounds. He shot 11 bogeys or worse in the final round.
He was among the best golfers at the British Open over the first 54 holes, even holding a share of the lead after the first two days. It's safe to say Holmes will put Sunday's performance in the rear-view mirror and move on.
