In the latest piece of confirmed driver news, Haas have announced that Mick Schumacher will depart the team at the end of the 2023 season.

The American-licensed team will now bring in experienced driver Nico Hulkenberg - who has already amassed 181 Grand Prix starts - to partner with Kevin Magnussen.

This news follows Williams' decision to have rookie Logan Sargeant drive alongside Alex Albon for the 2023 season.

The move is still subject to the young American gaining enough Super License points during the remainder of the F2 season. In order to boost that, Williams have also announced that he'll partake in one more FP1 session before the season's end.

Elsewhere, Pierre Gasly has left AlphaTuari to join French team Alpine where he'll pair up with Esteban Ocon for the 2023 Formula One championship.

His replacement at Red Bull's junior team comes in the form of Dutchman Nick De Vries who impressed during his F1 debut with Williams at the Italian Grand Prix earlier in the season.

Called up at the last minute due to Alex Albon's illness, De Vries scored vital points for the struggling team which seemingly did enough to impress AlphaTauri where he'll take a seat in 2023 alongside Yuki Tsunoda.

How does that leave the F1 lineups for 2023? Which places are yet to be decided? Here's what we know for sure.

Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton: stick or twist?

The latest on Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton for 2023 is that all three are staying with their teams, as is Sergio Perez, who partners Verstappen at Red Bull.

George Russell will still be alongside seven-time champion Hamilton at Mercedes, and Carlos Sainz will continue to be Leclerc's accomplice at Ferrari.

Hamilton considered retiring after the controversial end to the 2021 season but has now hinted that he could agree to new terms with his team.

Which driver changes could there be in 2023?

Following the confirmation that Hulkenberg will join Haas, there are unlikely to be any further driver changes for the 2023 F1 season.

American star Logan Sargeant - who is set to replace Nicholas Latifi - is the only driver with a question mark.

The 21-year-old still needs to gain enough Super License points before he can officially join Williams next season.
