The highly-anticipated fifth season of 'Formula 1: Drive to Survive' has been announced for February 24 by Netflix, a date just over a week before the start of the new 2023 F1 season will kick off.
A program that splits opinion amongst fans of the sport, the fifth season will once again take fans behind the scenes as the action unfolded during the 2022 Formula 1 season.
Last season saw Dutch driver Max Verstappen dominate proceedings as he won his second straight World Championship title, whilst his Red Bull team took their first Constructors title since 2013.
This new season of Drive to Survive is also likely to shed more light on Mercedes' poor performance during the early stages of the 2022 season and will once again focus on the drivers who race for the mid-table and back marker F1 teams.

That's a similar time of the year to previous season release dates with Netflix opting to use the start of the new F1 season as a benchmark for a successful launch.
With a sixth season of Drive to Survive already announced, that too will likely come out at a similar time the following year.
As with all of the prior seasons of 'Formula One: Drive to Survive', season five will only be available on streaming site Netflix.
The most basic UK Netflix package costs £4.99 a month while the cheapest US package works out at $6.99/month.
Like the first four season of the docuseries, this latest series is also expected to be made up of ten different episodes, each lasting around one hour in length.
What will F1's Drive to Survive season five focus on?
As with previous seasons, the focus of the fifth series of Drive to Survive will encompass a long list of different drivers, teams and personalities from the world of Formula One.
With single episodes usually focusing on two teams or rival drivers before a certain race, this season should follow the same format.
Therefore, it's extremely likely that one of the main focuses of the new season will be the midfield battle between McLaren and Alpine which came all the way down to the wire in the season-ending Constructors standings.
We're also likely to see glimpses of Max Verstappen and Red Bull's title victories, Mercedes' struggles throughout the season and Ferrari's demise.
The two-time Dutch champion may even get his own episode after he recently spoke to the Pardon My Take podcast regarding season five of the show.
When asked about his involvement he replied, "I'm not going to be too negative about it now. I've talked to the people who are in charge and running the show so, I think we actually came to a good understanding for the future. So yeah, I'm sure in the next one, you will see a little bit more of me."
But perhaps the most interesting storyline overall will come with the FIA's wide scale regulations changes that occurred prior to the 2022 season.
Those regulations saw each car on the grid look dramatically different to prior seasons with the changes setting out to create more exciting and competitive wheel-to-wheel racing, something that Drive to Survive should showcase well during the upcoming new season.
