Unfortunately for home fans, the Perth-born driver does not have a seat for 2023, and will therefore not race at Albert Park for the first time since joining the grid in 2011.

Daniel Ricciardo's last Australian Grand Prix
It was a nice return to Melbourne for Daniel Ricciardo at the 2022 Australian Grand Prix, finishing in a respectable sixth position.
The Australian qualified in seventh position and drove a steady race in front of his home fans.
This was his first start at Albert Park as a McLaren driver, with the 2021 edition of the race cancelled due to COVID-19.

Albert Park hasn't always been kind to Daniel Ricciardo, but he has finished fourth on two occasions.
He achieved this with Red Bull in 2016 and 2018.
As far as qualifying goes, he managed to nab second on the grid in 2014, again with Red Bull.
