Manchester City could once again reach the 90-point mark in the Premier League as they face Brentford on the final day of the season.

Pep Guardiola's side are on 89 points after 37 games, having already secured their third consecutive league title and fifth in the last six seasons.

Brentford have an outside chance of making the Europa Conference League spot on the last matchday. If the Bees win, and Aston Villa and Tottenham both drop points, they can qualify for Europe.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of the fixture between Brentford and Man City.

Brentford vs Man City predicted lineups

It would be a big surprise if Thomas Frank moves away from the 4-3-3 formation due to their recent form, winning four of their last five matches.

Star forward Ivan Toney is of course suspended until January 2024 by the FA due to breaking gambling rules. Pontus Jansson is out with a thigh injury and Keane Lewis-Potter is sidelined with a knee problem. Christian Norgaard is also set to be miss out with a knock.

Brentford (4-3-3, right to left): Raya (GK) — Hickey, Pinnock, Mee, Henry —  Onyeka, Janelt, Jensen — Mbeumo, Wissa, Schade

  • Injured: Toney, Jansson, Lewis-Potter, Norgaard
  • Suspended: None

Guardiola has been rotating his starting 11 quite a bit over the past few games to make sure every player will be in their best shape ahead of the FA Cup and Champions League final.

Nathan Ake is set to be the only player to be left out of the squad due to injury, but the likes of Haaland, De Bruyne, and Rodri could all be on the bench for City.

Man City (3-2-4-1, right to left): Ederson (GK) — Akanji, Dias, Laporte — Gomez, Phillips — Palmer, Silva, Foden, Grealish — Alvarez

  • Injured: Ake
  • Suspended: None
