The 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League final will offer a renewed route to European glory for one team in the final weeks of the season.

Jose Mourinho's AS Roma secured the first ever Europa Conference League title in 2021/22, as they beat Feyenoord 1-0 in the final, in the Albanian capital of Tirana.

The competition has been criticised for adding extra games to a packed European domestic schedule, but it also allows clubs the chance to win a European trophy, outside of the Champions League and Europa League.

UEFA has confirmed the tournament will go ahead as expected next season, with no plans to revise the tournament.
