When is Arsenal vs Man United? Date, time, odds and head to head history for Premier League clash image

Manchester United's weekend trip to Arsenal has all the ingredients of a classic showdown between these two Premier League rivals.

Despite neither side coming close to a title win in recent seasons, the picture in 2023 is very different, with Arsenal leading the way at the top the table, as they push for a first Premier League crown since 2004.

However, United head to the Emirates Stadium in their best form of the campaign, with Erik ten Hag's Old Trafford revival breeding optimism of the good times returning for the Red Devils.

Both sides head into the clash on the back of derby wins last weekend, against Man City and Tottenham, with Arsenal currently holding an eight-point lead over defending champions City, who sit in second place.

Here are all the important match details as Arsenal and United face off in Premier League action.

Arsenal vs Man United odds

Arsenal host United on the back of a winning trip across the capital to old foes Tottenham last weekend in response to United beating City at Old Trafford.

However, the key statistic on the minds of Arsenal fans is that United are the only side to beat Arteta's high fliers in the Premier League so far this season.

Arsenal vs Man United history

Across an impressive 59 Premier League meetings, United have the overall edge, with 25 wins, compared to Arsenal's 16, and 18 draws.

United dominated the early Premier League clashes, with Arsenal winning just once against Ferguson's side, in their first five seasons in the Premier League.

However, the 1997/98 campaign changed the complexion of the rivalry, as Arsenal won home and away against United, to clinch a Premier League and FA Cup double.

From 1997 to 2005, United and Arsenal went toe-to-toe every season in titanic battles for supremacy, with Arsenal winning three Premier League titles, and United claiming four.

Roy Keane's scraps with Patrick Vieira typified the ferocious dislike between both sets of players, but the game included moments of fantastic quality too, including outrageous goals from Dennis Bergkamp (Arsenal) and Ryan Giggs (Manchester United).
