The FA Cup third round started with Crystal Palace drawing 0-0 against Everton at Selhurst Park, meaning they'll take the battle to Goodison Park to decide a winner.
All Premier League and Championship teams are participating in FA Cup matches for the first time this season as the Third Round gets underway. Replays have historically held importance in the tournament, even in finals, most recently when Arsenal beat Sheffield Wednesday in a replay to lift the trophy in 1993.
While it isn't possible to have a replay in the final anymore, they remain in the competition from the earlier rounds. It also allows lower-league sides to earn significantly more cash if they manage to force a replay at a big Premier League club as they share the gate fee on the day.
Following the Toffees' draw with Palace, they will head to Merseyside to replay the game to determine a victor. But when will that game be? Here are the potential dates for replays in 2023/24.

When are the FA Cup Third Round replays?
In the event of a draw between two teams in round three of the competition, replays will be slated for the week beginning Monday, January 15. The matches are scheduled to occur on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as needed.
Are there replays in the FA Cup 2023/24 in every round?
The FA stipulated that there will be mandatory replays for games that end in draws up to and including the Fourth Round in 2023/24.
From the Fifth Round onwards, matches that are tied after 90 minutes will go to a 30-minute period of extra time. If the scores are still level, a penalty shootout will decide the contest.
Fresh changes could lie ahead: widespread reports in October suggested that plans to scrap replays after the Second Round could be introduced as early as the 2024/25 season.
