The Matildas' World Cup semi final with England will be broadcast live and free around the country on Seven.

Australia’s success at the World Cup has proved a ratings winner for the network.

Saturday's dramatic penalty shootout win over France was the highest rating program of the decade and comes in just behind the men’s final from the 2005 Australian Open (Lleyton Hewitt vs. Marat Safin) as the most-watched program since Cathy Freeman’s 400m final at Sydney 2000.

Matildas lineup: Predicted teams for Australia vs. England

Australia coach Tony Gustavsson has made it clear that Sam Kerr will be included in the starting XI if she is fully fit.

After playing over an hour against France, it is unclear whether the Matildas' star striker will make her first start of the tournament.

Emily van Egmond could come out in place of Kerr, but we're predicting an unchanged lineup for the host nation on Wednesday.

  • Australia predicted lineup (4-4-1-1): 18-Arnold (GK) — 21-Carpenter, 15-Hunt, 14-Kennedy, 7-Catley — 16-Raso, 19-Gorry, 23-Cooney-Cross, 9-Foord  — 10-Van Egmond  — 11-Fowler

As for England, they will again be without star attacker Lauren James, who is still serving a two-match suspension.

Expect a similar team to be named from their quarterfinal win over Colombia, with Chloe Kelly and Lauren Hemp likely to fight it out for the third spot up front.

  • England predicted lineup (3-4-3): 1-Earps (GK) — 16-Carter, 6-Bright, 5-Greenwood — 2- Bronze, 8-Stanway, 4-Walsh, 9-Daly — 10-Toone — 23-Russo, 11-Hemp
