The Supercopa de Espana winners are about to be decided as the 40th edition of the tournament comes to a close.

The final will be held in Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh for a third successive year, marking the fourth time in five seasons that it will take place in the country.

This is the first time the final will take place at the home of former Real Madrid top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo's Saudi Pro League club, Al Nassr.

Madrid will hope that will serve as some form of inspiration this weekend as they take on Clasico rivals Barcelona, who triumphed 3-1 in this fixture a year ago to win a record-extending 14th Super Cup. Los Blancos overcame Atletico Madrid in an eight-goal thriller in the semifinals, while Barca defeated Copa del Rey finalists Osasuna 2-0.
