The Matildas are back in action following their historic semi-final run at the FIFA Women's World Cup.

Tonight, Australia will play against Chinese Taipei in the last of three Asian Football Confederation qualifying matches as they look to secure their ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

With Australia almost certainly set to finish top of Group A, we can expect some changes from the full-strength starting XI named against the Philippines.

Cortnee Vine has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, while Emily van Egmond and Ellie Carpenter are absent after returning to their respective clubs.

The likes of Sayer, Charlotte Grant and goalkeeper Teagan Micah are now set for boosted minutes with a similar line-up to the IR Iran clash a possiblity.
