Look, we all make mistakes. But this is a big one.
Indian website Zee News announced to its 4.02 million Twitter followers that 'Brazilian legend Cristiano Ronaldo' would be on hand for the World Cup opening ceremony later this week.
The website also posted a photo of CR7, who, as you know, is Portuguese.
He'll also be playing for Portugal against arch-rivals Spain later in the week and is very unlikely to make an appearance in the ceremony.

What's more likely is that Brazilian legend Ronaldo - full name Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima - will be in the opening ceremony, and there's been a breakdown in communication.
Ronaldo - the Brazilian version - won two World Cups in 1994 (althought he didn't play a match) and in 2002, when he scored two second-half goals in a 2-0 win over Germany.
Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't achieved the same success in the biggest sporting even in the world, but was an integral part of Portugal's Euro 2016 triumph.
Anyway, the initial tweet from Zee News is still online.
Check it out here.

It's unfortunate, for sure. But it's made for some great banter in the comments.

What's also quite humurous is that Zee News has this tweet pinned to the top of their feed.
It's a graph showing them overtaking AAJ TAK, which is a rival news company in India
