Sheffield United welcome Everton to Bramall Lane on September 2 in what could already be a Premier League relegation six-pointer.

Both sides have lost all three of their league matches so far in 2023/24, with Sean Dyche's Toffees the only top-flight team who haven't scored a goal in the Premier League to date.

The Blades almost snatched a shock draw against defending champions Manchester City last weekend, losing 2-1 after Rodri's late winner, while Everton slipped to a 1-0 home defeat against Wolves.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Sheffield United vs Everton lineups

Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom was pleased with his side's resilience against City and he is not expected to make major starting changes.

Chris Basham could be recalled to defence with Ben Osborn carrying a minor injury from the City loss.

Sheffield United lineup (3-5-2, right to left): Foderingham (GK) — Ahmedhodžić, Egan, Basham — Baldock, Souza, Norwood, Hamer, Lowe — Osula, Traore

Dyche's injury list remains unchanged ahead of the international break with Dwight McNeil only fit enough to return to light training.

The continued lack of goals could force a change in attack, with new signing Beto expected to be in the squad, with Youssef Chermiti potentially starting.

Everton lineup (4-1-4-1 right to left): Pickford (GK) — Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Young — Gueye — Garner, Doucoure, Onana, Danjuma — Chermiti

Sheffield United vs Everton prediction, odds

Confidence is low in the camp of both teams ahead of this game, but Sheffield United's performance against City gives them something to build on, as the pressure grows on Dyche. They could cancel each other out.

Prediction: Sheffield United 0-0 Everton
