Egypt starts its AFCON 2024 campaign against Mozambique on January 14 in Abidjan.

Egypt vs Mozambique prediction

Egypt is the clear favourites to cruise to an opening win in the tournament against minnows Mozambique.

Salah's team will face a battle against Ghana to secure the top spot in Group B, but both sides are expected to qualify for the Round of 16, which will extend Salah's exit time away from Liverpool in the coming weeks.

Prediction: Egypt 2-0 Mozambique
