Sydney FC are officially getting their own documentary series.
With sporting documentaries on the rise, Paramount+ have announced their first attempt at one in the form of 'Sky Blue: Inside Sydney FC'.
The four-part series will focus on both the men's and women's team in the A-Leagues during their 2021-22 seasons.
It will follow in the footsteps of Amazon's 'All or Nothing' series which has covered Premier League clubs Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal.

When will the Sydney FC documentary series be released?
Paramount+ have confirmed the first episode of 'Sky Blue: Inside Sydney FC' will be available to watch on September 29, 2022.
The following three episodes will be released weekly each Thursday meaning the finale will be available on October 20.
The new A-League Men season will kick off on October 7 making the series an ideal way to warm up for the action to come.

'Sky Blue: Inside Sydney FC' will be shown exclusively on streaming service Paramount+.
Subscriptions for Paramount+ start from $8.99 per month or $89.99 for an annual subscription with free seven-day trials also available for new customers.
The streaming service was launched in Australia last year and currently holds the broadcast rights to the A-Leagues and select Socceroos and Matildas matches.

What to expect from the Sydney FC documentary series
Paramount+ are promising a behind-the-scenes look at Sydney FC with exclusive access provided throughout the 2021-22 season.
The series will feature interviews with players, coaches, backroom staff and fans during what was a dramatic campaign for the club in the A-League Men and A-League Women.
'Sky Blue: Inside Sydney FC' will be narrated by Golden Globe winner Anthony LaPaglia, who is also a fan of the club.
The documentary is being produced by Mint Pictures, an Australian company with a history of sports coverage. They produced three seasons of Football Superstar and were also behind Pitch Battle - a 2015 documentary on the Palestinian football team.
