Liam Chipperfield scored his first professional goal for FC Basel on Monday morning (AEDT) in a 2-0 win over Servette in the Swiss Super League.
If the last name sounds familiar that's because he's the son of former Socceroo Scott Chipperfield, who himself played over 200 games for Basel during his career.
Liam, who only turned 18 last month, made his senior debut for Basel in 2021 having coming through their youth system.
The midfielder was making his third league appearance of the 2021/22 season against Servette when he scored his first professional goal.
With the score locked at 0-0, Chipperfield was subbed on in the 66th minute and would find the back of the net just three minutes later.

Basel would strike again in the dying minutes to wrap up a win that keeps them second in the Swiss top-flight.
Chipperfield's first goal for the club looms as a sign of things to come with the midfielder viewed as a promising talent in Switzerland.
While the teenager's father played for Australia 68 times, the Socceroos are unlikely to see this Chipperfield line up in green and gold.
The Basel midfielder has already played several times for Switzerland's national youth teams and has previously hinted that his long-term future likely lies with the European nation.
"At the moment I’m playing for Switzerland and I don’t think so (regarding the prospect playing for Australia). But you never know what can happen in the future," Chipperfield told FTBL in February.
"Both Switzerland and Australia are in my heart - I love both countries. Of course, I grew up here and I’ve played for Switzerland.
"It’s not a ‘no’ to Australia but let’s wait and see."
Chipperfield's emergence and international allegiance situation comes on the back of Roma teenager Cristian Volpato being conflicted about whether to play for Italy or Australia.
Volpato grew up in Australia but has seen his career take off in Italy where he scored his first Serie A goal last month in a 2-2 draw with Hellas Verona.
