Network 10's first attempt at covering domestic football action got off to a shaky start on Tuesday night.
After impressing with their broadcast of the Socceroos' World Cup qualifiers earlier this month, Network 10 turned their attention to the FFA Cup and Asian Champions League (ACL) this week.
Both competitions returned on Tuesday night with games scheduled to be shown live and free on 10 Play in Australia.
But as fans eagerly awaited for the action to be shown, it became clear that the start of Peninsula Power's game against Brisbane Roar had been missed.
The first seven or so minutes of the match wasn't shown due to 'technical difficulties' with a similar thing happening for an ACL match between Ulsan Hyundai and Kawasaki Frontale later on in the night.
While no goals were missed during Brisbane's 3-0 win on Tuesday, the coverage blackout was an early stumble from Network 10 as they prepare to become the new home of Australian football.
Some fans managed to see the lighter side of the incident, while others were a little less forgiving as they stressed similar issues have to be avoided moving forward.

#FFACup #ACL2021 @Channel10AU I suppose it's better they stuff it up now then when the A-League starts in Oct/Nov, but still...

This match graphic is thrilling and all, but I'd love to get some footage of the game @10FootballAU #FFACup

I get sometimes the FFA cup might hit technical hitches from smaller grounds but not to have a back up plan is a bit poor

FFA Cup action continues on Wednesday night via 10 Play with Edge Hill United hosting Gold Coast Knights in a round of 32 clash.
The Knights boast former Socceroo Mitch Nichols in their squad, who continues to star on the Gold Coast and could well fuel the club's best-ever run in the competition.
New streaming service Paramount Plus will begin showing football matches from late October in time for the start of the new A-League season.
