The Socceroos' 2-0 win over New Zealand on Sunday will be the last time the side plays before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, coach Graham Arnold has confirmed.
A new-look team that featured six debutants started poorly at Eden Park before a much improved second-half saw the Socceroos claim consecutive victories over the All Whites.
Australia, who qualified for the World Cup with a penalty shootout win over Peru, face reigning champions France in their first group game in Qatar on November 23 (AEDT).
Despite that match being nearly two months away, Arnold confirmed the Socceroos won't be able to fit in another game beforehand due to the tight fixture scheduling this year.
"There's no chance. We've got seven days before we play France. When do we play? The players arrive on the Monday or the Tuesday and we play six days later," Arnold said post-match when asked if his side would play again before the World Cup.
"So all you're going to do by playing a friendly game two days after they arrive is just wear them out for the first game.
"I think we've played enough with each other and the boys just need to come in fit and mentally ready and off we go."

Arnold's attention will now be on how Australian players perform at club level with the Socceroos coach set to keep a particularly close eye on the A-League Men.
While some nations are set to announce their World Cup squads well in advance of the tournament kicking off, Arnold suggested he won't name his final side until just before the FIFA deadline closes.
"I think it's around the 14th of November I have to select the squad because again it's a short lead in of only seven days," Arnold said.
"The players will be playing with their clubs on the 12th and 13th and I have to name it after that."

One player looking to force his way into Australia's World Cup squad is Jason Cummings, who scored on debut against New Zealand on Sunday.
The former Scotland international was given his chance off the bench and impressed alongside club teammate and fellow debutant Garang Kuol.
Cummings, who goes by the nickname 'Cumdog', clinically tucked away a late penalty and Arnold liked what he saw from him.
"He's mental. He caused a bit of raucous out there with the opposition," Arnold said.
"He's a great kid, he hit the shot for handball so it would've gone in anyway and that's why he probably thought he should take the penalty as he deserved a goal anyway."
"I've got to step up and take this, finish off my dinner" 🍽️
