Who is Australia playing at the World Cup 2022?
The Socceroos have been drawn in Group D, where they will face France, Denmark, and Tunisia.
Notably, Australia shared with a group France and Denmark at the 2018 tournament.
In those matches, the green and gold fell valiantly to Les Bleus 2-1 and drew with Denmark 1-1.
If Australia is one of the two teams that advance from Group D, they will match up with a team from Group C in the Round of 16, which includes Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.

The top two teams from each group based on total points advance to the single-game knockouts. If teams are tied on points, goal difference is the first tiebreaker followed by goals scored. If teams are also tied in those categories another set of tiebreakers is applied.
