The Socceroos have safely made their way to the quarterfinals at this year's Asian Cup.

Despite some lacklustre group stage performances, Australia enjoying some attacking returns in the Round of 16 against Indonesia, winning 4-0.

Asian Cup: Who will the Socceroos play in the quarterfinals?

After topping Group B, the Socceroos earned themselves a more favourable knockout draw.

Next up: the quarterfinals.

Australia will face South Korea after they defeated Saudi Arabia via a dramatic penaly shootout on Wednesday morning (AEDT).

That match is scheduled for 2:30 am AEDT on Saturday, February 3.

The Socceroos notably defeated the Taeguk Warriors in the 2015 Asian Cup final.
