Barcelona claimed their first UEFA Women's Champions League crown on Monday morning (AEST) after smashing Chelsea 4-0 in the final.
Matildas star Sam Kerr could do little for the Blues as Barca opened the scoring after just one minute and made it 4-0 by the 36th minute.
After losing 4-1 against Lyon in the final in 2019, the win was particularly sweet for Barcelona fans, who were quick to rub the convincing victory in the face of Kerr.
The Aussie innocuosly tweeted two years ago that Barca weren't exactly 'competitive' in their loss against Lyon - a statement that clearly cut deep for fans of the Spanish club.
Following their 4-0 win on Monday, Barca supporters flooded social media with barbs aimed towards Kerr and a tweet they waited two years to make light of.

While Chelsea and Kerr fell short in the Champions League final, they have enjoyed an otherwise very successful season.
The Blues have won the Women's Super League (WSL) and League Cup, while Kerr took out the WSL golden boot with 21 goals across just 22 games.
