Optus Sport have established themselves as a major streaming service for football in Australia over the past few years.
After bursting onto the scene with the 2018 FIFA World Cup rights, they have become the home for the English Premier League and other popular competitions.

Optus Sport's Premier League rights in Australia
The Premier League will continue being shown live and exclusive on Optus Sport until 2028 in Australia.
Optus agreed to a new a six-season deal in 2021 which starts from the 2022-23 season onwards.
At the time of the renewal, they revealed the service had grown to over one million active subscribers.
Prior to Optus Sport, the Premier League was shown on Fox Sports in Australia.

How much does Optus Sport cost and why did they increase the price?
From August 1, Optus Sport will raise its prices for the first time.
Previously, a one-month subscription cost $14.99 but that is now priced at $24.99 with an annual pass available for $199.
Eligible Optus customers, who previously got free access to the service, will now also have to pay $6.99 each month if they wish to maintain their subscription.
At the time of the announcement, Optus stressed the price increase was necessary and will allow them to provide the best coverage moving forward.
"This compares favourably with other content streaming services that have emerged in the Australian landscape and is the first change to Optus Sport’s pricing since we first launched in 2016," an Optus Sport statement read.
"We want you to know that we’re fully committed to providing value for money, so from August, all live and on-demand Premier League matches will be available to stream in 1080p HD on supported devices. That means you can watch all the action from the world’s best league in exceptional detail.
"We’ll continue bringing you every match live, plus full replays, mini matches, highlights, magazine shows and more, so you can watch your team without missing a beat."
What other football competitions are on Optus Sport?
Optus Sport have built an extensive library of live football in recent years.
Along with the Premier League, they recently picked up the La Liga rights in Australia.
Optus have been broadcasting the Women's Super League and signed a new deal to cover the competition for at least another two years.
The 2023 Women's World Cup will be shown primarily on Optus Sport and they have been broadcasting the Women's Euros.
J-League and select international matches are also streamed on the platform.

What will Optus Sport's La Liga coverage involve?
Optus Sport has taken over Australia's La Liga rights from beIN Sports - which will see every match broadcast live via their platform.
All La Liga matches will be available to be viewed on demand, while there will also be highlights, news and review programs on their app.
Select matches from La Liga SmartBank, including promotion matches, will also be telecast.
Two Aussies currently play in La Liga - Maty Ryan at Real Sociedad and Awer Mabil at Cadiz.
