The Matildas will play one more warm-up match before the Paris Olympics when they face familiar foes Canada in Spain.

With both countries preparing for the games in the same location, it is a sensible option for a pre-tournament tune up as the Matildas aim to win a medal for the first time ever.

The Matildas are also unbeaten so far in 2024, and it is a record they would like to keep intact heading into the Olympics beginning later this month.

The Sporting News details how fans can keep up with the action.

Matildas vs. Canada history

The two countries have faced off a fair bit in recent times, with Australia and Canada locking horns three times in 2023.

The first came at last year's World Cup, where the Matildas needed to win to progress to the Round of 16 at their home World Cup; they did it in emphatic style, trouncing Canada 4-0 and sending them home in the process.

However, Canada got revenge later in the year in back-to-back friendlies in Canada, winning 5-0 and 1-0 in December, though the Matildas played rotated lineups for these matches.
