English Premier League giants Manchester City have perplexed fans after posting on Instagram about Saturday's AFL grand final between Melbourne and Western Bulldogs.
Despite the game being a very different type of 'football', Man City are seemingly quite excited about the match.
"Good luck to both Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs ahead of the AFL Grand Final this weekend! What a weekend of Sport," an Instagram post from the club read.
Pep Guardiola's side also face a big weekend with a Premier League clash against joint-leaders Chelsea awaiting them on Saturday night at Stamford Bridge.
Fans of both codes were left quite confused about Manchester City's message and took to social media in an attempt to understand it.
Desperate attempt to lure more overseas fans? Trying to somehow show support for Melbourne City (don’t know how)? Charm offensive ahead of the upcoming Four Corners story?

For supporters of both sports, the AFL grand final should finish around 10pm (AEST) on Saturday night meaning fans can flick straight to Man City's clash with Chelsea which kicks off at 9.30pm.
