A struggling Manchester United travel to Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday morning (AEDT) in the hope of avoiding another thrashing at Anfield.

While Liverpool are flying with a one-point lead over Arsenal at the top of the domestic summit, the Red Devils are languishing in sixth, 10 points off the pace.

Erik ten Hag's side will be hoping to banish the memory of their trip to Anfield last season with the side battered 7-0 in an embarrassing display.

But Liverpool will want to keep Manchester United as their bunnies with Jurgen Klopp's men scoring 21 goals to three in their last five league games against their regional rival.

Can Manchester United snap a two-game losing streak or will Liverpool continue their title push by once again swatting aside their derby enemy?

The Sporting News previews the game below with our prediction and best bets.

Goals, goals, and goals have featured in this fixture over the last couple of years but it's been mainly Liverpool's way.

The Reds have won four of the last five Premier League matches between the teams, scoring 21 goals to Manchester United's three in those games.

Six of the last seven games between the two teams in all competitions have featured four goals or more, with a leaky Red Devils' defence primed to struggle at Anfield.

It would be a surprise if there isn't goals aplenty in this fixture once again.
