FIFA is an incredibly inept and corrupt organization. Its leader, Sepp Blatter, is responsible for much of the corruption and ineptitude.
Look no further than FIFA's decision to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar, an oil-rich country whose social structure includes something closely resembling modern-day slavery. On top of that, the summer conditions in Qatar make it virtually impossible to host a major outdoor athletic competition.

On a recent episode of the hit HBO show "Last Week Tonight," host John Oliver once again ripped FIFA and Blatter to shreds over the upcoming FIFA elections.
Despite being terrible at his job, Blatter is expected to be re-elected. While it is a bad thing for the sport, it will provide Oliver with a bevy of new content.
