Australian coach Joe Montemurro saw his Juventus women's side claim a 12-0 win over Macedonian club Kamenica Sasa in the Women's Champions League on Wednesday night (AEST).
The match marked Montemurro's first competitive outing in charge of the Italian team after he joined them from Arsenal over the off-season.
Montemurro won two titles during his time with the Gunners and will be expected to pick up more silverware with the Bianconere.
Despite the lopsided nature of his first match in charge, the Aussie still found some faults in Juve's big win as he looks to steer them to continental success over the next year.
"It was very important on a mental level not to underestimate a team we didn't know," Montemurro said post-match.
"I really liked the mentality of always playing, keeping the ball in the game. At these levels you do not have time to think about who is to blame if you lose the ball.
"You need to have the continuity of going to retrieve the ball and we have to work on these moments. We have created several chances and not been able to score, here we have to improve "
Juventus women have won all four Serie A titles since the competition began in 2017.
They are yet to get beyond the round of 32 in the Champions League however and next face St. Polten in another qualifying match on August 21. Following that they kick off the new Serie A season at home against Pomigliano on August 29.
Juve won all 22 of their league games last season with second-placed AC Milan finishing 15 points behind them.
