How to watch Matildas World Cup matches on TV
Fans in Australia will be able to watch every Matildas match at the tournament live and free on Channel 7, which is sharing the broadcasting rights for the tournament with Optus Sport.
Channel 7 has assembled a strong team of commentators and analysts for the clashes, including Adam Peacock, Mel McLaughlin and Elise Kellond-Knight.
David Basheer and Grace Gill are set to commentate the Matildas' matches for Channel 7, with Australian fans hoping to see Basheer commentate over more memorable moments such as those seen at the men's World Cup in Qatar last year.

The Matildas matches at the World Cup will also be live streamed on both the Optus Sport app and website, as well as on the Channel 7 streaming platform 7Plus.

In positive news for football fans in Australia, all of the Australia matches can be live streamed for free on the 7Plus streaming platform.
Users only need to create an account, but it does not require any financial information to be shared. Once an account is created, anyone in Australia can watch the Matildas' clashes at the World Cup.

Matildas World Cup schedule
The Matildas begin their World Cup campaign against the Republic of Ireland on July 20 and Stadium Australia.
They then travel to Brisbane to face Nigeria a week later on July 27, and they round off their group stage with a pivotal clash against Canada in Melbourne on July 31.
