Has Neymar ever won the Champions League? Former Barcelona star's record as he eyes PSG glory in UEFA competition image

One of the greatest players of his generation, Neymar, is hunting down more Champions League success this season with PSG.

The famous Brazilian international — also the joint-highest goalscorer in his country's history — has picked up tens of club trophies and individual accolades throughout his career to date.

One of those famously came back in 2015 when he scored in the Champions League final as his former side Barcelona lifted the prestigious trophy.

With a Round of 16 tie against Bayern Munich on the horizon this season, Neymar will be hoping to lift the trophy once again come the end of this current campaign.

Has Neymar ever won the Champions League?

Unlike many of his PSG teammates, Neymar has lifted the Champions League before in his career.

That title came during the 2014/15 season with former side Barcelona when they beat Juventus 3-1 in the final — the Brazilian also scored during that match.

Since then, the closest he has got to adding a second Champions League title came in 2018/19 when his PSG side were defeated 1-0 by Bayern Munich in the final in Lisbon.

He's also made the semi-final previously with PSG in 2020/21 and has three times reached the quarter-final stage with Barcelona.

How many Champions League goals has Neymar scored?

Netting 43 goals in 80 Champions League appearances during his career to date, Neymar is widely regarded as one of the best players to have ever played in the competition.

Playing the first four of ten competition campaigns with Spanish side Barcelona, the Brazilian's first goals came in the form of a hat-trick versus Celtic back in November 2013.

Since then, he's forged a reputation for being one of the most skilful footballers in the game, going on to net crucial goals in the Champions League for both Barca and PSG.

His biggest goal in the competition arguably came back in the 2015 Champions League final when he netted against Juventus as his Barcelona side lifted the trophy that campaign.

He also scored twice and assisted twice during the Spanish side's 6-1 victory over PSG during their Round of 16 tie in 2017 — one of the competition's most iconic comebacks.
