France and the Netherlands will clash on Friday as the two teams look to start their respective UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying campaigns in strong fashion.

The hosts will be eager to claim a win in Paris as they play for the first time since their 2022 World Cup final penalty-shootout loss to Argentina, though new Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman will be plotting a minor upset.

Now into his second spell as national team coach, Koeman has been dealt a bad hand here with seven players already being forced to leave the squad due to injury or illness.

Here's all the key information on the match, including kickoff time, live streaming and TV channels, lineups, and betting odds.

France vs Netherlands lineups

France have been dealt two defensive blows as William Saliba and Wesley Fofana, who were both selected by Deschamps for this international break, were both forced to withdraw from the squad through injury. In their places, Moncao's Axel Disasi and Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo came in.

This will be the first match under the new captaincy of Kylian Mbappe, who has taken over the armband following Hugo Lloris's retirement from international football. AC Milan's Mike Maignan is now Deschamps' first-choice goalkeeper.

France starting XI (4-3-3): Maignan (GK) — Kounde, Konate, Upamecano, T. Hernandez — Tchouameni, Rabiot, Griezmann — Coman,Kolo Muani, Mbappe

Just like their hosts here, the Netherlands have been dealt a pair of big injury setbacks. That's because key midfielder Frenkie de Jong and forward Steven Bergwijn have pulled out of the squad this international break due to late injuries.

The visitors have also since been hit by a sickness bug that has forced Cody GakpoMatthijs de LigtJoey VeermanSven Botman and Bart Verbruggen to leave the group. Their replacements come in the form of Stefan de Vrij, Ryan Gravenberch and Kjell Scherpen. Full-back Denzel Dumfries is suspended for this game.

Netherlands starting XI (3-4-3): Cillessen (GK) — Timber, Geertruida, Van Dijk, Ake — De Roon, Wijnaldum, Taylor — Berghuis, Depay, X. Simons

France vs Netherlands betting odds

The bookmakers are expecting nothing less than a France win here. We'd tend to agree given Les Bleus' run to the World Cup final in December that saw them lose out to Argentina in dramatic fashion.

That run to the showpiece highlighted everything you need to know about France. They remain one of the best international sides in the world, blessed with some of the greatest players of this generation, including star Mbappe.

That said, behind the fantastic goalscoring form that saw them net 17 goals in seven World Cup matches, the hosts continue to look susceptible at the other end, as highlighted by their return of just one clean sheet across that tournament.

The Netherlands will prove very tough opposition as well, and +320 with BetMGM seems really nice value. Don't expect the Dutch to turn up and put France to the sword by any measure but a smash-and-grab away win here is far from an unrealistic result.
