IRS chief uses terrible puns during FIFA investigation press conference image

The United States Justice Department arrested several top FIFA executives on Wednesday in connection to a longtime corruption scandal.

Naturally, they held a media conference shortly after the arrests were made. While attorney general Loretta Lynch said FIFA was "expected to uphold the rules that keep soccer honest," some took a different approach when they spoke to reporters.

Chief Richard Weber of the Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation went offsides to score on a bicycle kick with a atrocious soccer puns about the World Cup and red cards. It was more of an own-goal than a hat trick.

The only thing this is missing is a dive in the box.
