Women's football continues to rise in prominence with the best players in FIFA 23 revealed by EA Sports.

Stars such as Australian striker Sam Kerr, Spanish midfielder Alexia Putellas and Norwegian forward Ada Hegerberg feature as gun players in the game.

The Sporting News takes a look at the women's ratings in FIFA 23 with a full list of the top 25 players below.

Who is the best women's player in FIFA 23?

Despite Matildas star Kerr featuring on the cover of FIFA 23, Spanish playmaker Putellas has been crowned as the best women's player by rating.

The 28-year-old Barcelona star, who stands alone with a 92 rating, won the Ballon d'Or Feminin in 2021 from team-mate Jennifer Hermoso and Kerr.

Kerr is next best on a 91 rating with two other players - Wendie Renard and 2018 Ballon d'Or Feminin winner Ada Hegerberg.

Four players have are rated 90, including Lucy Bronze, Alex Morgan, Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Caroline Graham Hansen.
