Everton and Celtic will play each other in Australia on Sunday, November 20 as part of the inaugural Sydney Super Cup.

The scheduling of the 2022 FIFA World Cup means that most professional leagues are pausing during the tournament, with both the Toffees and the Bhoys making the trip Down Under for these friendlies.

Their clash is the second match of a three-game series and will take place at the 80,000-seater Accor Stadium in Homebush.

Everton vs. Celtic preview, prediction

Predicting the result of a friendly match is a bit of a shot in the dark, and the even quality of these two teams makes it even harder.

Celtic currently leads the Scottish Premiership but struggled to make an impact in the UEFA Champions League and also looked sluggish against Sydney FC on Thursday.

Everton, on the other hand, sits in the bottom half of the English Premier League table and have lost their past three matches.

Prediction: 1-1 draw
