Daniel Sturridge's first week in Australia has been spent in the confines of a small hotel room in Perth.
After signing for A-League Men's outfit Perth Glory last month, the former Premier League star has made the move Down Under but is required by the Western Australia government to spend 14 days in hotel quarantine despite being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
As Sturridge approaches the halfway point of his time in quarantine, he posted a video on TikTok detailing what his life has looked like for the past six days.
From a ridiculously small gym to closed windows, Sturrridge certainly isn't living the life of luxury but has managed to find the lighter side of it all.

"Quarantine in Perth is a journey I tell you that," Sturridge posted on Twitter.
"I’ve become an interior designer how I’ve configured my bags and gym equipment in this hotel room.
"Nine days to go in quarantine but I’m big vaxxed so we good. More YouTube, reading, bike, weights and FT’s. Positive vibes."
Still can’t get my head around why I have to quarantine for 15 days when I’m Covid free n vaccinated. I’ve literally been in my room for a week so far and took 2 Covid tests 😂. I have antibodies 🤷🏾♂️.Rules are rules but I can’t make sense of this. See you in 8 days🙌🏾 #perthvibes

The 32-year-old will face a tight turnaround to be fit in time for Glory's first match of the new A-League Men's season once he gets out of quarantine.
Richard Garcia's side will host Adelaide United at HBF Park on November 20 with Perth's CEO Tony Pignata revealing the game is on track to be sold out in anticipation of Sturridge's first game.
"I was on WhatsApp with him yesterday and he's just trying to get over the jetlag," Pignata told SportFM 91.3 on Wednesday.
"I think today is day six for him so in another week he'll be out. It's tough. It's hard to spend two weeks in a hotel room, trust me.
"Ticket sales have been very good. I think we're going to sell-out the way ticket sales are going at the moment.
"It's looking like a big crowd at HBF Park on November 20 when Daniel Sturridge is hopefully unveiled."
