The attacking midfielder struck 22 goals in the 2023/24 Premier League season and claimed the competition's young player of the year prize, all while varying level of chaos seemed to reign at Stamford Bridge around him.

Palmer made the decision to leave Manchester City for Chelsea last year, with Pep Guardiola admitting he was unable to offer him a consistent first-team role.
He finished his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge with 22 Premier League goals, a total only bettered by his old clubmate Erling Haaland (27) , with a perfect record of nine penalties scored from nine taken.
