Sydney FC players are confident they can match it with Celtic when the two clubs face off in the first match of the inaugural Sydney Super Cup on November 17.
With club football pausing due to the 2022 World Cup, Celtic and Everton have taken the chance to head to Australia to take part in the tournament.
Those two sides will play each other on November 20 before Everton take on Western Sydney Wanderers on November 23.
Celtic are currently coached by former Socceroos boss Ange Postecoglou and his side are playing some attractive, attacking football as they dominate in Scotland.
Despite the Hoops' attacking threats, Sydney FC defender James Donachie believes his team can cause an upset with home-ground advantage.
"At home, I'll say 2-1. Celtic will score but I think with the crowd, we'll get up 2-1," Donachie told The Sporting News.
"We're going to have our work cut out (defensively) if I'm honest. The attackers are on another level so it will be a good test for our back four that's for sure.
"The Japanese boys are quite sharp, obviously Ange worked in Japan and brought them over, and you can see how good they are in the Scottish league.
"For Celtic to come out here is pretty massive. I'm really looking forward to it and hoping the stadium is full."
Donachie's Sydney teammate Jack Rodwell is no stranger to taking on giant clubs like Celtic having played in the Premier League for the likes of Everton and Manchester City.
Rodwell now finds himself in Australia and feels his side can cut it with a team like Celtic with their Sydney Super Cup clash set to be sharper than most friendlies due to the unique timing of it.
"You know what, probably 2-2. I feel like it will be a good attacking game, both get a couple goals and it'll be an exciting game," Rodwell said when asked for his prediciton of the game.
"It's mid-season obviously because of the World Cup but I feel like if anything it will make it a bit sharper because we're both fit and raring to go. It's not like we're just trying to get our minutes in in pre-season.
"To test ourselves against a club like Celtic will be great. They're a good team, playing really well but I feel like we can hold our own against them."
