While Belgium can strengthen their chances of reaching the UEFA Nations League finals against Wales on Matchday 5, their opponents are in peril in Group A4.

Anything less than victory at Brussels' King Baudouin Stadium would leave Wales relying on a setback for Poland, who host group leaders the Netherlands, to keep their chances of avoiding relegation to League B intact.

With two games remaining for each team, Poland are three points above Wales. Belgium are a further three points ahead, three shy of the Oranje in pursuit of top spot and a place in the finals in June 2023.

The Sporting News has the details on how to watch the teams play one of their final games before they head to the World Cup in Qatar in November.

Belgium vs. Wales predicted lineups

Coach Roberto Martinez has left all-time top Belgium scorer Romelu Lukaku out of his squad for the final two fixtures of the Nations League campaign as a precaution because the Inter Milan striker has a thigh issue.

Playmaker Eden Hazard is likely to play despite rarely featuring for Real Madrid this season. Martinez wants the three-time Belgium player of the year to build his fitness ahead of the World Cup.

Belgium predicted lineup (3-4-2-1): Casteels (GK) — Dendoncker, Boyata, Vertonghen — Meunier, Witsel, Tielemans, Carrasco — De Bruyne, Hazard — Batshuayi

Defender Ben Davies, midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Joe Allen, and winger Harry Wilson are out injured for Wales.

Captain Gareth Bale joined the squad late after featuring as a substitute for LAFC in their win over Houston Dynamo on Monday and may be rested as a result.

Wales predicted lineup (5-3-2): Hennessey (GK) — Williams, S Thomas, Mepham, Rodon, Gunter — Smith, Ampadu, Morrell — Moore, Johnson

Belgium vs. Wales betting odds

The Red Devils' status as favourites with the bookmakers reflects home advantage for FIFA's highest-ranked European team and the likely absence of the talismanic Bale, but Wales have repeatedly given Belgium problems in the eight meetings between these sides since September 2012, losing on one of the past seven occasions.

Their last two encounters have ended 1-1, with Nottingham Forest youngster Brennan Johnson scoring a late equaliser in Cardiff in June after Youri Tielemans had given Belgium the lead.
