Records were being broken left and night at the Allianz Arena as Bayern Munich romped to victory on opening night in the Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb.
The Bavarian giants defeated the Croatians 9-2 in a scarcely believable scoreline, scoring six goals in the second half that at one stage was 3-2!
Not only did Harry Kane become the highest scoring Englishman in the Champions League, but Bayern Munich also equalled and broke some club and competition records of their own.
Not bad for Vincent Kompany's first Champions League match as a coach...

Bayern break Champions League goalscoring record
Bayern Munich became the first team in the history of the Champions League to score nine goals in a match.
There have been a few teams to score eight goals in the competition, including Bayern themselves in their famous (or infamous depending on who you support) 8-2 quarter-final win over Barcelona on their way to winning the title in 2020.
Bayern's relentless attacking performance against Dinamo saw that record smashed, as Leon Goretzka's stoppage time goal saw them break the magic number and enter the history books.

Kane was the star as he scored four goals - three of them were penalties - whilst Michael Olise also bagged a double on his Champions League debut.
Kane got the scoring started with one of his penalties in the 19th minute, after VAR ruled Serge Gnabry's goal out for offside but found a foul in the buildup.
Raphael Guerreiro and Olise added two more before the break with quality efforts, leading many to believe it would be a procession for the Bavarians.
However, their Croatian opponents briefly threatened a dramatic fightback early in the second half as they scored two goals in two minutes with their first shots of the game.
Bruno Petkovic scored first as his lunging effort beat Sven Ulreich - who replaced the injured Manuel Neuer - before Japan's Takuya Ogiwara stunned Bayern to score again moments later when he slid the ball through Ulreich's legs.
Just when a famous comeback looked to be on the cards, Bayern killed it with ruthless efficiency, and set about equalling and breaking records in the process.
Kane and Olise bagged their doubles, before Kane scored two more from the spot to take the score to an already remarkable 7-2.
Leroy Sane then equalled Bayern's record goal haul with a low and powerful drive to make it eight, before Goretzka got the record sealing goal in the final moments of the match with a diving header after making his way into the box; Kane almost made it an incredible 10, but his acrobatic effort went just over the woodwork with the last kick of the game.
Bayern also broke their own Champions League goalscoring effort in the process with their nine goal haul, but also equalled their biggest ever win in the competition, having won 7-0 twice before.
They will hope to carry that momentum into their next match in the Champions League when they face Aston Villa away; Australian fans can catch the match live and exclusively on Stan Sport.
