Australia Cup final: How to buy tickets

Fans were able to purchase tickets via Football Account and club pre-sales on Thursday, September 28, with seats then made available to the general public on Friday, September 29.

Tickets can be purchased via Ticketek with prices starting at $12 for juniors, $15 for concessions, $25 for adults and $65 for a family.

Why is the Australia Cup final being played at Allianz Stadium in Sydney?

A venue for the Australia Cup final was not pre-selected for the current tournament, leaving Football Australia to make a decision once the two competing teams were confirmed.

The decision to play the match at Allianz Stadium is notable due to it being Sydney FC's home ground.

Football Australia, however, has explained that it was due to a number of factors, including date clashes and stadium sizes.

Suncorp Stadium is unavailable on the weekend of October 7-8, while Ballymore Stadium — which is under renovation with a reduced capacity — and Kayo Stadium were deemed not large enough to host the game.

"The host city and match day venue for the Australia Cup final is at the discretion of Football Australia, where venue suitability and availability are key factors in any determination," the governing body said.
