Cristiano Ronaldo has eased some of the pressure on his position at Al Nassr by netting his first goal for the club in their 2-2 draw at Al Fateh last weekend.

The 38-year-old slotted home a last gasp penalty to rescue a point for Rudi Garcia's side in Al Hasa, but they enter their next match against Al Wehda three points behind leaders Al Shabab.

The overall reception for Ronaldo remains mixed in Riyadh, with constant speculation over a potential return to Europe at the end of the campaign.

At the halfway point in the season, Al Nassr are in the mix for their first domestic league title since 2019. Following the showdown at Al Wehda on Thursday, Al Nassr will get a full week of training before hosting Al-Taawoun on February 17.
