Enjoy yoga against Hong Kong’s iconic harbourfront as part of Lululemon’s Be You Be Well Festival. Through a series of yoga and fitness workshops, the athleticwear hopes to bring focus to the importance of physical and mental wellness to the Asian community.
The Be You Be Well Festival brings virtual and physical events to South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong, encouraging participants to engage in interactive wellness activities with Lululemon’s community ambassadors.
As the city begins embracing life as Covid restrictions ease, Lululemon brings a series of one-hour wellness classes to Hong Kong’s newest architectural gem, the M+ museum. Against the beautiful backdrop of Victoria Harbour, Lululemon’s community ambassadors will be hosting classes beginning June 25.
The Be Well Experience will feature a number of classes including mindful yoga, crystal bowl meditation and barre sessions. Located in the West Kowloon Cultural District, M+ provides a unique outdoor experience right in the heart of the city.
Among the classes is the Moving with Awareness session led by Gianni Melwani at 9:30 am on June 25. A former footballer and long-time yoga practitioner, Melawani advocates body-mind awareness and incorporates yoga to complement other athletic pursuits. “It is quite interesting how yoga has helped many athletes prolong their careers and aided in sports performance and recovery; hence I decided to incorporate some of these practices into my daily routine as well,” he says.
In addition to the series of wellness classes, Lululemon launched a Mindful Walk City Guide in partnership with local art platform ZtoryTeller. The guide is free to pick up at Lululemon stores across the city and is a visual map that explores hidden gems through a mindful journey around town.
The 12 Lululemon & M+ Be Well Experience sessions take place over weekends starting June 25 until the end of July.
