Despite still having 18 months to run on his contract and being named on an extended bench for the Warriors against Brisbane this weekend, the 22-year-old has opted to depart the club with immediate effect.
After making his NRL debut with the club in 2014, Lolohea went on to make 52 first-grade appearances for the Warriors but struggled to feature regularly this season and said goodbye to his former teammates yesterday.

Lolohea seems intent on pursuing a rugby league career in Australia with Wests Tigers early favourites to land him.
If he was to sign for Ivan Cleary's side, he'd join fellow Kiwis Ben Matulino and Russell Packer in committing their respective futures to the club.
