Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor must not have looked at the calendar when they slated their megafight for August 27 (AEST) in Las Vegas.

T-Mobile Arena, the year-old indoor venue right on the Las Vegas strip, is already booked for that date for the championship game of the BIG3 basketball league co-founded by rapper and actor Ice Cube.
But as we all know about this fight, there’s plenty of money involved. And if a chunk of that cash is pushed toward the BIG3, it would be willing to change venues.
“If they do what they’re supposed to do and make us happy, yeah we’ll move,” Ice Cube said Monday on Fox Sports 1.
“We’re talking about it. I think we’re going to get there.”
Ice Cube also offered his prediction for the fight, making it seem as if the struggle for the venue will be the toughest challenge Mayweather will face.
“Yeah I know what’s going to happen. I think Mayweather gonna put them thangs on him,” he said.
