As the Western Bulldogs looked to secure a stunning comeback against Geelong, a string of poor umpiring decisions has cost them dearly with fans quick to vent their frustration on social media.

Despite a spectacular third quarter resurgence which saw them kick six straight, the Dogs would fall short against the Cats losing 104-81 and it seems the umpires have once again impacted the game more than they should.

From favouring Geelong captain Joel Selwood to a pretty awful call against Dogs captain Bob Murphy, fans were once again left less than impressed with the umpiring.

Geelong won't be complaining though, the result snaps a three game losing streak for them.
