Wests Tigers coach Ivan Cleary has confirmed a dip in form and demeanor led to him agreeing to release Mitchell Moses to the Eels this week.

Moses had been pushing for an immediate release to Parramatta for nearly a month now after signing a two-year deal, but Cleary was reluctant to let the player depart prematurely from his contract.
That all changed however on the back of two pretty poor performances from the five-eighth one of which saw him miss eight tackles on Friday against South Sydney.
Cleary confirming that Moses seemingly sealed the move with some coincidentally lacklustre displays.
"The last time I spoke about (the Moses situation) publicly was after the Bulldogs where I thought he played well," Cleary said.
"I mentioned that I hadn't seen anything to suggest in his performances or preparation that he wanted to leave.
"And that was the thing I was going to go by. Again, there was no benefit to our club for a release.
"I don't know if it's a coincidence but things changed after that.
"His last two performances and general demeanor suggested he just wasn't happy and the logical conclusion was for us to part ways and that's what we've done."
Moses is now a strong chance of starting for Parramatta on the weekend with the Eels hosting Canberra on Saturday night.
