Fri: Broncos v Sea Eagles @ Suncorp Stadium (7.35pm AEST)
After being rested from last Saturday's gutsy win over Canberra in the Nation's Capital, Justin Hodges and Sam Thaiday return. However, this week goal-kicking forward Corey Parker has earned a rest from Wayne Bennett.
Daly Cherry-Evans will put six months of scrutiny behind him by making a shock comeback from a shoulder injury, two weeks ahead of schedule. DCE's return will see Jamie Lyon shift back to the centres with Tom Trbojevic dropping back to the under-20s.
Fri: Wests Tigers v Titans @ Leichhardt Oval (7.35pm AEST)
A blow to the Tigers with Curtis Sironen (neck) and David Nofoauluma (knee) ruled out following Thursday's Captain's run. The talented duo will join Robbie Farah (shoulder) and Tim Simona (ankle) on the sideline. Manaia Cherrington and Matthew Lodge have been named as replacements.
A late change following today's captain's run with with winger Kevin Gordon replaced by David Mead, who returns from a hamstring complaint. How the Titans react to DCE's decision will be worth the price of admission alone.
Sat: Knights v Raiders @ Hunter Stadium (3.00pm AEST)
Without regular halfback Tyrone Roberts (ankle) for the next three weeks, the injury-ravaged Newcastle side have named an untried halves pairing of Kurt Gidley and Carlos Tuimavave. Gidley (cork) must pass a fitness test on Friday to be declared a certain starter. Dane Gagai (calf) must also pass a fitness test.
The Raiders are in good shape after their defeat to Brisbane. Ricky Stuart has no major injury concerns.
Sat: Rabbitohs v Warriors @ nib Stadium (5.30pm AEST)
Souths coach Michael Maguire will make a final call on his line-up following a final session in Perth on Friday. Greg Inglis is a certain starter after suffering concussion last weekend.
Warriors coach Andrew McFadden has ordered Dominque Peyroux and Ken Maumalo to travel to Perth as cover for Sam Tomkins (knee) and Manu Vatuvei (sternum). Both Tomkins and Vatuvei will be given until midday Saturday to prove their fitness.
Sat: Panthers v Storm @ Pepper Stadium (7.30pm AEST)
Jamie Soward is in some doubt for the clash with an injured shoulder but he is expected to play with the help of a pain-killing injection. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak will play fullback for the injured Matt Moylan (ankle) who will miss the next 10 weeks. Josh Mansor (knee) is unlikely to figure.
A big blow for the Storm with Marika Koroibete (broken thumb) ruled out. Matt Duffie, Young Tonumaipea and Richie Kennar are all in contention to take up the vacant wing spot. Billy Slater (shoulder) returns after missing last Monday's loss to the Roosters.
Sun: Sharks v Roosters @ Remondis Stadium (4.00pm AEST)
Cronulla will field their strongest team in more than a month of football with inspirational captain Paul Gallen cleared to make his comeback from a hip injury which has sidelined him for the past eight weeks. Experienced forward Chris Heighington also returns from a three week suspension, while Sosaia Feki (shoulder) and Ricky Leutele (shoulder) are also set to return, which will force Shane Flanagan into re-shuffling his backline. Ben Barba won't play after injuring his ribs at training.
Plenty of mail suggesting Blake Ferguson will make his comeback from an ankle injury, which would prove a major boost for the Roosters who have enjoyed a light week following their classy win over Melbourne.
Mon: Bulldogs v Dragons @ ANZ Stadium
Not named but Brett Morris will push hard to make his comeback from a hamstring injury-enforced lay-off. Morris knows he has to play on Monday to be any chance of being chosen for NSW. Tony Williams is likely to miss the remainder of he season with a torn pec suffered in a training mishap.
Competition leaders and without a single injury concern ahead of Monday's clash. In fact, the Dragons will arguably stronger than the side that thumped Cronulla last Sunday with backrower Joel Thompson returning from a hamstring complaint.
Mon: Eels v Cowboys @ Pirtek Stadium
Having spent three days in camp on the Central Coast, the Eels are hoping the break can re-ignite their season. David Gower (ankle) returns from injury on the bench while there is some doubt over Tim Mannah (shoulder).
The in-form Cowboys will travel to Sydney chasing 10 straight wins without any major injury concerns.
