Team India are fresh off a successful T20 World Cup 2024 campaign. The Rohit Sharma-led side won the final against South Africa, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat in Barbados.

Courtesy of the win on June 29, Team India have now won two T20 World Cups, and as many as they have won in the ODI format. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, two of India's senior-most players at the tournament, won their second World Cup title.

The duo are now among the active players with the most ICC wins.

When is the next ICC T20 World Cup?

The next ICC World Cup will be yet another T20 World Cup. The event will take place in 2026, with India and Sri Lanka co-hosting the tournament. Like the T20 World Cup 2024, a total of 20 teams will play in the 2026 edition too.
