The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 playoffs are fast approaching with league stages boiling down. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were the first team to confirm their place in the last-four stage and finished in the top spot.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) confirmed their playoffs tickets last week, before Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) snuck into fourth place with a superb 27-run win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday night.
On May 19, SRH defeated Punjab Kings by five wickets in the afternoon game before the RR vs KKR match was abandoned due to rain. This combination of results meant SRH sealed second place on the points table, earning themselves two chances to qualify for the final.

Which teams will play the Final of IPL 2024?
One of the teams in the final will be Kolkata Knight Riders, who defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Qualifier 1 on May 21. The other finalist will be the winner of Qualifier 2, which will be contested between SRH, and the winner of the Eliminator between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
