WATCH: Shane Warne fondly remembers test debut image

You always remember your first. 

For Shane Warne, his first appearance playing for Australia came at the SCG, and according to the great man, he did not have a good game. 

But despite this, Warne credited his debut for bringing him his favourite cricket memory: walking onto the pitch and seeing his name on the billboard. 

“I remember walking out to bat, I looked up at the scoreboard, and it said ‘congratulations Shane Warne, you’re the 350th Test cricketer to ever play for Australia’, that’s not a lot of people, only 350 people ever,” Warne said. 

“December 30, 1991, I got picked, had New Years up in Sydney, and then made my debut at the Sydney Cricket Ground which is a pretty amazing experience.”
